Military Benefits

Who’s eligible for military benefits?

MAPS scholarships are available to qualified active duty reservists or veterans of the armed services. To apply, click here and then select Imagine America Military Award Program (MAP).

Veterans of the armed services, spouses and dependants of 100% disabled or deceased veterans may be eligible for the GI Bill. These benefits are paid directly to the student once enrollment is certified.

Disabled veterans may be eligible for Chapter 31 benefits which pay for the cost of the educational program. Additionally, a separate benefit may be paid directly to the student.

Students currently serving active duty in the Navy, Marines, or Reserves may be eligible for Tuition Assistance. This benefit pays up to $4500 per fiscal year toward your education. Students may also be able to receive GI Bill benefits as well. For more information and to print an application, (click here).

More information regarding military benefits may be found on the VA website: www.va.gov

Once an approval is received, please notify your financial aid administrator so that we may certify your enrollment with the Veteran’s Administration. Questions regarding your enrollment certification may be directed to Karissa Marcangeli at kmarcangeli@communitycarecollege.edu.
