Career services include assistance with resume writing, interviewing, identifying job openings, and other job search activities. Graduates who require additional assistance after their initial employment should contact the College to provide updated resume information. Even in a climate of mass layoffs, pay cuts, and worker reductions; Community Care College graduates are securing rewarding employment. According to the latest report submitted by the College to its accrediting body, over 83% of students who had earned their associate degree at Community Care College were employed in their chosen career field.

Another instrumental element of the College’s success is due to the selection of in-demand career programs offered. Community Care College conducts comprehensive market studies at both a regional and national level before offering a program of study. The College resists adding programs which fail to demonstrate consistent higher-than-average growth. The vast majority of programs offered at the College are healthcare-related; within healthcare, Community Care College offers both diplomas and associate degrees in Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Surgical Technology, Pharmacy Technology, Health Service Administration, Medical Billing and Coding, Veterinary Assisting, and Massage Therapy.

According to a recent study published by the Economic Mobility Initiative, healthcare represents the only field described as having a “very high” return on tuition investment. Ranked “high” return fields were business and education, the other two industries represented in Community Care College’s course offerings. Students who attend programs in “very high” or “high” return fields can expect to earn $12,000 to $18,000 more per year than those who pursue low return fields, according to the study.
